The play was inspired by Euripides’ Iphigenia at Aulis, but has been reinterpreted to dress the ancient tale in the context of a modern wartime reality. Iphigenia 2.0 by Charles Mee is an updated fast pace production that involves musical dance numbers of relationships, love, family in the time of war. A Sonoma, California review of the set design stated- "Adams’ detailed balance of décor captured the juxtaposition of the play’s various themes."
