The film "Stranger Things" is about a woman who returns home from University to cope with her past while two traveling vagabonds attempt to deal with the present and future. Paths are crossed and friendships are made. The locations in England included a makeover of five interiors: two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a caravan, of a small cottage. The set dressing had an arc of a dusty discovery from time stood still to the clutter of items and memories as the character rehashes the past. Production design highlights included the design and decoration of the cottage interiors, traveling props and a homeless trolley, exteriors, shops, and landscape of the outdoor beaches and yards.

The vagabonds were distressed and weathered from life on the streets. The trolley was designed with color and texture.
The caravan was an abadoned distressed home for the character before he discovers the small cottage.
