Designer: David Martin. Venue: Bridgeport Theater, Connecticut . The design of the outdoor show, As you Like It, is a transition of the bare woods in winter to the blooming flowers of spring. The shows humorous direction incorporated musical "hippie" moments and allowed for a lighter design.
A stage extention of a revine and tree stumps were created as sitting units for actors as they moved amongst the audience
The actors placed the flowers amongst the set pieces and upstage flats.
Painted flats placed upstage for entrances/exits and background environment for winter and spring.
